Adroit Worldwide Media (AWM), Inc., a vision technology firm, recently announced that it is partnering with Macondo Vision. The latter will use the expertise in computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence provided by AMW to help power their solutions within the distribution center/restaurant spaces/warehouse and bars.
Macondo Vision’s Co-Founder, Frank Layo stated that the business landscapes currently face withering productivity despite massive investment in automation. The labor cost in terms of sale percentage has increased owing to high turnover, tight labor market and surging hourly rates. He further added that the rising demand for same-day delivery has been aggravating the problems in all industries.
Reportedly, Macondo Vision has goals to assist the firms in driving the productivity of employees by having leveraged machine learning algorithms and computer vision of AWM to discreetly track all the activity as well as provide insights that have never been made available earlier. This will help optimize the workforce.
The services provided by Macondo Vision also include comprehensive solutions that report, measure and reward the associates as well as supervisors in both warehousing and hospitality. This helps in the direct recruitment, retainment and encouragement of great labor.
Kevin Howard, Chief Executive Officer, AWM commented that the company has had a long history with Macondo Vision and it is convinced that their applications will disrupt such markets immediately. Howard further said that the transparency level of Macondo Vision articulates its market leadership. AWM will look forward to working with the Macondo.
AWM has solutions that offer a platform that incorporates digital, computer vision and other advanced technologies in the retail ecosystem. AWM has also developed scalable Content Management Software, optimization of large-format video player controllers and programming and Facial Recognition Software. The company was recently named as the 2019 Outstanding Small Technology Company by OCTANE.
